Welcome to Epsom and Ewell Families, the founder, Dee (Devenia Besant) and I hope you find this a useful source of information – all things Epsom and Ewell (and surrounding areas).
Having run my popular and engaged Facebook group Epsom and Ewell Families for the past 8 years and working with local businesses I have been thinking about creating a one-stop platform that can provide the local community with useful information and to help you connect with the business services you are looking for – those that come well recommended and can be trusted, and so here it is.
I initially started the Epsom and Ewell Families Facebook group as I wanted to meet more families in the area and to find out about things to do with my children and it’s been a perfect platform to do just that. The feedback I receive tells me that it’s done that for many others too. It has also been a great place for me to raise the profile and support charities as well as others who are fundraising and I would love to see this continue.
In the Epsom and Ewell Families business directory you will find services that you may need, all of which have been reviewed by at least 3 people that have used the service. You will be able to read the recommendations / reviews on each business profile. However it is still important you do your own research to ensure that particular service is the right one for you. The vast majority of the services on the directory are locally based and reviewed and recommended by local people and many I have personally used (although these have still been reviewed by others). It is really important to me that the services recommended to you provide a high quality service this is why any advertiser must be reviewed before appearing on the site.
From the blog you can expect information on local events, things to do, reviews, news, useful info and sometimes a blog will be just for fun. The blogs are written by myself, the Epsom and Ewell Families blogging team or by guest contributors. If there is something that you would like to share with the local community via the blog then please get in touch and I will see if I can help you in any way.
